Lead Mechanical Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering the FEED phase of a major offshore gas platform development.

You will lead the mechanical engineering scope, providing technical direction and oversight across the design of a new offshore facility, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities throughout FEED.
• Manage mechanical design deliverables and technical reviews.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support safety studies and design assurance activities.
• Interface with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer.
• Experience leading offshore oil & gas projects.
• Strong FEED and detailed design background.
• Knowledge of offshore mechanical systems and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
