Engineering Manager | FEED | Offshore Energy | Norwich

Contract Opportunity
I'm currently supporting a specialist offshore engineering organisation in their search for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and design delivery of a Minimum Facilities Jacket Platform FEED project based in Norwich.

This role will suit a senior engineering professional with a strong background in offshore platform engineering, FEED execution, and multidisciplinary team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout the FEED phase
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure engineering deliverables are achieved on schedule and within budget
• Oversee technical reviews, engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation
• Manage engineering resources and provide technical leadership across disciplines
• Chair design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and engineering best practices
• Interface with clients, stakeholders, and third-party reviewers

 
What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years' offshore engineering experience
• Extensive experience with offshore platform engineering and structural design
• Proven delivery of Concept, Pre-FEED and FEED projects
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Experience preparing and presenting engineering design packages for client approval
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

• Chartered Engineer status
• Experience with jacket platform developments
• Knowledge of topsides, process, piping, subsea systems, lifting operations, fabrication, and installation
• Familiarity with ANSYS, Mathcad, AutoCAD and SolidWorks
