HVAC Site Engineer

Join a nationally significant nuclear programme and play a pivotal role in delivering complex HVAC systems that support the future of clean energy.

This is an exciting staff opportunity for an experienced HVAC Site Engineer to work on a major nuclear project where engineering excellence, quality and safety are at the heart of delivery. You will act as a key link between design, manufacturing and installation teams, helping to resolve site challenges, drive progress and ensure successful project outcomes.

Working within a highly skilled environment, you'll have the chance to influence critical decisions, develop your expertise and contribute to one of the UK's most ambitious engineering programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate HVAC engineering activities across site and project teams.
  • Assess site requests and provide effective technical solutions.
  • Support the resolution of RFIs, FCRs and NCRs.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer between engineering and construction teams.
  • Monitor HVAC installation activities and identify potential risks.
  • Review commissioning procedures, test sheets and work packs.
  • Support construction, commissioning and validation activities.
  • Engage with contractors and stakeholders to ensure project progress.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety and technical requirements.
  • Contribute to planning, scheduling and successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience with HVAC systems within the nuclear industry.
  • Background in HVAC engineering, commissioning or project engineering.
  • Experience working on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong understanding of site installation and construction activities.
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to manage technical queries and non-conformances.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of contractual and commercial principles.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
  • Meticulous approach to quality, safety and engineering standards.
