KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce and maintain engineering documentation, quality plans and technical specifications.
• Manage technical queries in line with established processes and procedures.
• Support contractor selection, contract placement and technical reviews.
• Appraise project options and contribute to feasibility studies and site surveys.
• Liaise with designers, engineering teams and station personnel.
• Prepare Engineering Changes and supporting documentation.
• Develop commissioning documentation and lead test teams where appropriate.
• Support Project and Construction Managers with safe, timely project delivery.

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Chartered Engineer or HND qualification, typically in an engineering discipline.
• SMSTS qualification.
• Experience delivering construction projects under CDM.
• Strong understanding of safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Experience working within highly regulated, safety-critical environments.
• Power station or nuclear licensed site experience is desirable.
• Formal project management qualification and modern project management experience are desirable.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
