PROJECT MANAGER - NUCLEAR ENERGY
Lead complex nuclear projects that make a lasting contribution to the UK's energy future.

Based at Heysham Power Station, this is an opportunity to manage complex, multi-discipline projects within a highly regulated environment, supported by experienced professionals and genuine opportunities to develop your project management and leadership career.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from strategy and planning through to delivery and close-out.
- Develop project execution strategies and deliver against agreed scope, cost, schedule and quality requirements.
- Coordinate integrated, multi-disciplinary project teams and functional support.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
- Manage project costs, estimating, planning, commercial drivers, risk and earned value.
- Prepare business cases, funding papers, reports and project documentation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
- Support delivery across engineering, design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Degree educated, ideally in Engineering or a related discipline.
- APMP or equivalent formal project management qualification.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-discipline projects through the full lifecycle.
- Experience working within highly regulated environments with strong safety cultures.
- Understanding of Safety Cases, CDM and relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
- Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning processes.
- Commercial awareness, including cost control, estimating and financial project drivers.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project planning, scheduling, risk and earned value tools.
