PROJECT MANAGER - NUCLEAR ENERGY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle, from strategy and planning through to delivery and close-out.
• Develop project execution strategies and deliver against agreed scope, cost, schedule and quality requirements.
• Coordinate integrated, multi-disciplinary project teams and functional support.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with relevant policies, procedures and legislation.
• Manage project costs, estimating, planning, commercial drivers, risk and earned value.
• Prepare business cases, funding papers, reports and project documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams.
• Support delivery across engineering, design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree educated, ideally in Engineering or a related discipline.
• APMP or equivalent formal project management qualification.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-discipline projects through the full lifecycle.
• Experience working within highly regulated environments with strong safety cultures.
• Understanding of Safety Cases, CDM and relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning processes.
• Commercial awareness, including cost control, estimating and financial project drivers.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project planning, scheduling, risk and earned value tools.
