Offshore Construction QA/QC Lead

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Construction QA/QC Lead to support offshore wind construction activities on a major project. This is a key role responsible for ensuring quality assurance and control across offshore works through to commissioning and final asset handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee quality activities across offshore construction works, ensuring compliance with project and contractual requirements
• Monitor contractor performance and conduct surveillance of offshore activities
• Review and approve quality documentation including ITPs, quality plans, and installation procedures
• Act as offshore client representative across structures including foundations, jackets, OSS, turbines, and towers
• Manage asset handover processes including “as found / as left” certification and final acceptance
• Identify quality risks across fabrication and installation phases and implement mitigation strategies
• Support technical queries, deviations, and change requests across project packages
• Produce regular reporting on offshore construction quality activities

Requirements

• Relevant certifications such as CSWIP 3.1, BGAS, FROSIO, NACE or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in NDT, H&S, or ISO QMS auditing are advantageous
• Full GWO certification
• Strong knowledge of offshore wind standards including DNV/NORSOK
• Extensive experience in offshore construction quality roles at a supervisory level
• Ability to work to high degree of autonomy, within a team, effectively, efficiently and with a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional standard of written and spoken English
