Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical or Process)

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Lead commissioning activities across assigned mechanical or process systems
  • Develop commissioning documentation, including test procedures and validation plans
  • Contribute to design reviews to ensure efficient system commissioning
  • Plan and manage commissioning test programmes
  • Execute on-site commissioning safely and effectively
  • Analyse results and produce detailed technical reports
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear and environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering and operations
  • Act as SME for allocated systems, driving technical excellence

 
 
Qualifications & Requirements
 

  • Degree, HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Proven commissioning experience (mechanical or process)
  • Background in highly regulated industries (nuclear, oil and gas, utilities)
  • Strong understanding of process system testing
  • Knowledge of power station or reactor designs (EPR/PWR desirable)
  • Experience with radioactive waste or nuclear systems preferred
  • Strong safety and quality focus
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to interpret and present complex technical data
