HPC site, 5 days on site, possibility working on weekends
Overview
Supports construction quality surveillance for Electrical works on the HPC nuclear project.
Ensures NEC Supervisor duties are delivered and HPC quality expectations are met.
Works within a large, fast ‐ paced site team under strict programme and safety requirements.
Acts as a key advocate for Nuclear Safety Culture and compliant construction practices.
Key Accountabilities
Monitor construction activities to confirm compliance with contracts, drawings and Quality Control Plans.
Identify and report non ‐ conformances, quality risks and issues before they impact progress.
Coordinate proactively with site teams, contractors and the Construction Superintendent to maintain safe, efficient workflow.
Review and verify Quality Inspection Records before works are covered up, ensuring accurate surveillance reporting.
Key Skills & Qualifications
18th Edition Wiring Regs, C&G 2391 Inspection & Test, plus CSCS/SMSTS required.
Strong construction knowledge with experience in large project environments, preferably nuclear or similar.
Excellent communication, organisation and diplomacy skills with the ability to build effective contractor relationships.
Minimum HND in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience), with high attention to detail.
