NEC Supervisor

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role on a nationally significant nuclear energy project, ensuring construction excellence, safety, and contractual compliance across complex off-site infrastructure works. You will be trusted as the on-the-ground authority for quality and standards, working at the heart of a high-profile, fast-moving environment.
You will join a collaborative, professional project team where your expertise in NEC contracts, quality assurance, and site supervision will directly influence successful delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with Works Information and NEC contract requirements
- Issue defect notifications and support the defects correction process
- Review and approve materials prior to procurement and delivery
- Chair quality meetings covering non-conformances and defects
- Liaise with County Council inspectors under S278 agreements
- Observe site works to ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Maintain accurate inspection, testing, and site activity records
- Witness testing and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with project quality teams and management systems
- Produce clear written and verbal reports for project leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in complex, regulated construction environments
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
- Degree and chartered status in engineering or construction (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations
- CSCS card and relevant H&S training
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to apply a graded approach to quality
