Charity Bike Ride for Norwich City Community Sports FoundationPosted on July 26, 2018
Earlier this month, our Directors Stuart Smith and Richard Jeffrey took part in the Norwich Cycle Swarm to raise money for our 2018 charity: Norwich City Community Sports Foundation. Riding from Norwich football stadium on Carrow Road heading north towards Swanton Abbott and round the Norfolk Broads through Wroxham and Salhouse, before heading back to Norwich.
The gruelling 35-mile trip took Stuart and Richard just over two hours, (2 hours 10 minutes and 28 seconds to be exact!) and they rode with hundreds of other riders taking part. The event took place on a lovely sunny day during the heatwave and was a great occasion that helped to raise thousands of pounds for local charity.
A big congratulations to Stuart, Richard and all involved!
Earlier this year we took part in a go karting event at Ellough Park in Beccles alongside Norwich City FC’s Community Sports Foundation’s ambassador Jake Humphrey. Read all about it here!
There are many more fundraising events planned over the next few months, find out how you can get involved on the Community Sports Foundation website.
