At People with Energy we have been recruiting candidates for engineering roles in the energy industry since we started out. It has always been one of the key elements of our business – but it is far from our sole area of expertise. Over the years we have diversified our service and are proud to work with local and national clients, assisting them with recruitment for a wide variety of roles including administration, accountancy and finance, and sales and marketing.

An example of this can be seen in our work with a local client to recruit a Referrals Coordinator.

Who Is The Client?

Our client is one of the leading suppliers of business support, services and access to funding. The role will see the successful candidate based at their offices in Norwich.

What Does The Role Involve?

You will be tasked with establishing an effective referral network across the East of England, delivering introductions to the client’s Start Up loan programme. To achieve this, your responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting the benefits of the Start Up Loans project
  • Ensuring that there are sufficient leads to meet the Start Up loan monthly target
  • Providing a detailed monthly report showing the impact of recent activities
  • Building and retaining strong relationships with key organisations to generate speaking, networking and event opportunities
  • Providing regular content to the marketing team for use on social media channels
  • Devising and delivering original, value led presentations to a range of audiences
  • Effectively influencing contacts through face-to-face meetings, events and networking
  • Advocating and cross selling all of the clients services

Who Are We Looking For?

Ideally we are looking for a candidate who has previous experience working both as part of a team in an office environment and also on their own. They should be able to demonstrate experience of working with organisations involved with SMEs and finance, both in the public and private sectors.

The ability to influence a wide variety of contacts is also crucial, as a large part of the role will involve presenting at and attending events, networking and working to project targets.

What Are The Benefits?

In return the successful candidate can expect to receive a permanent position with a leading supplier of business support, and a salary of £26,000.
