We’ve grown from providing specialist services for the oil and gas sector, to cater for the rapidly growing renewable energy and technology industries.

We supply personnel across the UK and worldwide for one-off requirements to large workforce needs for major projects, covering on and offshore roles.

Stuart Smith Managing Director

With over 25 years’ experience in energy recruitment, Stuart is an industry leader and skills champion for the East of England. Stuart has a number of additional roles including New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership (NALEP) Skills Advisory Panel, NALEP All Energy Industry Council Member, NALEP Energy Skills Partnership Forum Chairman,

Director of the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) and the EEEGR Skills for Energy Chairman.

Richard Jeffery Director

Richard has been with People with Energy for over 14 years and has an acute knowledge of the energy and recruitment industries, and excellent relationships with key contacts within the sectors. Richard is a certified recruitment professional with an ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management.

Neil Morton Business Manager

As a part qualified accountant with a varied background including working offshore on platforms, Neil is brilliantly qualified to be our Business Manager.
Neil has AAT full membership (MAAT), with an ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership & Management as well as QNUK Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF).

As our accounts and payroll administrator, Judith has been an integral part of the team for almost twenty years and keeps our operations running smoothly.

Emily Warner Recruiter

Emily is relatively new to recruitment but brings years of “people” experience from her time as a teaching assistant and working with vulnerable adults. Emily is making excellent progress so far, placing candidates in both permanent and contract roles and picking up the technical nature of the role very quickly. She has a natural rapport with candidates and clients alike which serves her well. In addition to her busy workload, she has now passed her Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (Cert RR) and she is currently working through her Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Recruitment (Cert PRP).

Martyna Nowakowska-Cockerill Compliance Manager

As an experienced Administration Manager & Recruitment Coordinator within various sectors, Martyna aims to develop new and effective ideas for PWE whilst supporting the team in delivering the best service. Martyna completed her Level 2 in Recruitment Resourcing and her Level 3 in Recruitment Practice since joining the team.

Outside of work, Martyna enjoys travelling and in her spare time and working on her house renovations.

Matt Rayner Recruiter

Matt is an experienced Operations Manager and has worked in Finance and Telecoms where he was responsible for the recruitment, training, and management of hundreds of staff. Matt is passionate about technology and problem-solving and is currently managing the CRM system and several operational projects. He is also working through his Level 2 Certificate in Recruitment Resourcing (Cert RR).
